TESTIMONIALS:
🇮🇹 By nature, I am a cowardly person and freeze in the face of difficulties. Group calls helped me understand the main thing—I am not the only one. Similar problems and feelings in emigration exist for others too. This can be lived with and gradually overcome. Before this, I saw myself as just a weakling who wasn’t meant to live in another country. It turned out that everyone feels fear, worries, cries, and complains about life—even if they appear strong.
I like that no one in the group judges you. I can freely talk about my fears. I can’t even tell my wife—I’m afraid of dragging her into this abyss of fear and anxiety too. But in the group, I can speak about it easily.

🇵🇱 Working with the group gave me even more than working with a psychologist before. A psychologist mainly allowed me to vent, which often resulted in superficial chatter about nothing. In the group, however, time is limited, so you have to get straight to the point, which helps dig deeper. Besides, with a psychologist, I found it difficult to answer the question: "What am I feeling?" Yes, the psychologist asked me this periodically, but the questions often related to actions from hours or days ago. In the group, I had to talk about feelings in the moment. This was much easier and helped me finally start noticing my feelings.
Another key aspect was problem-solving. When you hear that others have faced the same problems, how they felt, and how they resolved them, you get ideas for dealing with your own issues. It was much harder to find solutions on my own with a psychologist, and any solutions I found didn’t stay with me for long.
I am grateful to Costa for the opportunity to be part of the group and receive support and acceptance.

🇵🇱 I have been living in emigration for over 1.5 years now. Of course, I have gone through various feelings and adaptation stages. I am very grateful to Costa for the group, where I could share my experiences in a safe environment. I appreciate the support and this great project. I was especially impressed that Costa managed to bring together so many men. This was my first experience in a therapeutic group where, for a time, I was the only woman. I chose to experience my emotions and go deeper—and I found a place where I felt good and interested.

🇵🇱 I came to the first meeting without expecting much. My main goal was to practice the Belarusian language, and the discussion title, "My Feelings in Emigration," seemed interesting. I really liked the format, though it was unusual to share something so personal with strangers, especially without direct dialogue. Konstantin gently but firmly guided group members when they broke the rules, which I think helped us open up—even during the first meeting. So when Konstantin suggested continuing the meetings regularly for the next three months, I agreed without hesitation.
Over time, we, the group members, gradually bonded and touched on many important and personal topics. Through conversations about emigration, we reached discussions about family relationships, self-acceptance, and life choices. The group became an unexpected source of support and inspiration for me, for which I am very grateful.

🇫🇷 Participating in the group therapy "My Feelings in Emigration" was very valuable for me.
Getting to know other participants and openly discussing my experiences, dissatisfaction, and fears helped me understand what was happening to me.
In emigration—whether forced or not—we face many questions and inner struggles. Sharing them with family or close friends, without inner work, often doesn’t help resolve these issues.
Unlike individual therapy, group therapy allows not only for self-expression but also for listening to others, recognizing what resonates with you, and identifying your emotions. Finally, I realized that some problems are universal and saw how others approach them.

🇺🇸 Emigration can be an extraordinary experience, filled with a wide range of both positive and negative emotions, as well as numerous challenges. I would like to share my positive experience participating in the "My Feelings in Emigration" group, led by Konstantin in online meetings.
From the first session, Konstantin created a trusting and safe environment where participants could freely express their thoughts and emotions. The group leader skillfully facilitated open discussions, encouraging us to share our struggles, victories, and fears. The shared experiences among group members fostered a sense of belonging, validation, and understanding, which played a crucial role in easing the emotional burden of emigration.
One of the best aspects of this therapeutic group was the opportunity to listen and learn from others’ experiences.
Knowing that like-minded people were there, ready to listen and understand, gave me a sense of security and reassurance during my emigration journey.
I believe that such meetings are a great resource for those experiencing complex emotions related to emigration.
